MNMT-Dublin is honorably collaborating with 10 academic members from distinguished Universities and Institutes. We are proudly hosting 14 Ph.D. students and 10 researchers, including 2 Assistant Professors, 2 Senior Engineer, 1 career FIT Research Fellows, 1 Marie Skłodowska-Curie CAROLINE Research Fellow, 1 IRC Government of Ireland Research Fellow, and 7 Postdoctoral Researchers.

Professor Fang has over 30 years of experience working in manufacturing science and technology. He was responsible for setting up the Centre of Micro/Nano Manufacturing Technology (MNMT) at Tianjin University in 2005, which is a leading research organization in the field of ultra-precision manufacturing. He has managed a large number of national, international, and industry-funded research projects. His specialist areas of interest include micro/nano manufacturing, optical freeform manufacturing, medical device/implants manufacturing, ultra-precision manufacturing, and metrology. Amongst the applications areas are in aspheric and freeform optical systems, visual optics,  bio-medical implants, and medical devices,. Fengzhou has worked with over a hundred industrial partners assisting companies to develop their R&D activities. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, along with 12 book chapters, as well as over 50 patents. He is the Founding President of the International Society for Nanomanufacturing (ISNM), the President of the International Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET), a Chartered Engineer of UK Engineering Council, and the editor-in-chief of Nanomanufacturing and Metrology (NMME). He is a Fellow of ISNM, CIRP, AET and SME. Fengzhou is also a recipient of SME Albert M. Sargent Progress Award. Based on the MOA between Tianjin University and University College Dublin, Fengzhou is responsible for establishing the Centre of Micro/Nano Manufacturing Technology (MNMT-Dublin) at UCD
